Sara Lynn Lambrix was born on December 26, 1983, in Ventura, California. When Sara was two her family moved into a house in Port Hueneme, California. Sara attended Bard Elementary, E.O. Green Middle School and graduated in 2002 from Hueneme High School.
Sara was named after the Hall and Oates song “Sara Smile” and smile she did. She even won a smiling contest when she was three.
When her family decided to move to Wyoming, Sara came along. She worked at many different jobs until she attended the Climb Wyoming Program where she received a certificate in welding. She worked at Woodward Precision and most recently Flannery West as a machinist.
While growing up Sara played softball, was on the Hueneme High School swim team and even bowled on a league for kids with her brother for a couple of years. She loved family camping trips to El Capitan and Millerton Lake while in California, and after moving to Casper Alcova Lake was a favorite destination.
Sara loved the water, the moon and the stars. She loved to write poetry. She loved music and to sing and dance. She loved to snuggle and take naps. She loved the Dallas Cowboys, but most of all Sara loved spending time with her family.
