Sandra Petersen

April 29, 1952 — November 17, 2017

Sandra J. Petersen passed away in Casper on November 17, 2017 at the age of 65. She is survived by her husband LaVerne, children Willie and Christina, brother Louis (Bud) McBride and grandchildren Audrey, Elliott and Zoey. Sandy was born in Oklahoma City to Louis and Faye McBride and grew up in Cheyenne and Phoenix, AZ before moving to Casper and starting work at Paradise Valley Country Club which she worked at the next 43 years. Sandy and LaVerne were married in 1976 and were happily together for 41 years. Sandy had an infectious laugh and sunny disposition that touched all who were lucky enough to know her. She loved her family more than anything and spending time with her grandkids was always her priority. She will be missed. A celebratory memorial service will be held Saturday December 2, 2pm at Paradise Valley Country Club.
