Sandra Pennington

Sandie peacefully passed away at home on Thursday September 1, 2011. Sandie lost her battle with a debilitating stroke that left her a hemi-paraplegic. Sandie was born March 15, 1957 in Hardin Montana to James R. and Dora L. Ewing. Sandie is survived by, her loving husband of 18 years, Terry, her adult son Joshua, mother Dora, brother David, and sisters Laurel (Lori) and Barbara (Barbie). Sandie was preceded by her father James R. Ewing, her toddler daughter Tonya, and first husband Christopher A. Spitzer. Sandie became an active member of the Casper community as soon as she arrived in 1996. Sandie supported community projects that included, Angle Network, Joshua's Store House and Distribution, and volunteered her time tutoring Anatomy and Physiology students at Casper Community College. Sandie completed her Associates of Science degree, Business Management and an Associates of Arts degree at Casper Community College. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Bustard's west chapel, behind the main building. Pastor Brenda Baalhorn will officiate. There will be a viewing from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 7, 2011 at the west chapel.
