Sandra Marquart

Sandra Kay Marquart, age 75, of Glenrock, Wyoming, passed away October 9, 2016 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper, Wyoming. She was born May 22, 1941 to Burton Kyle and Helen Elizabeth (Van Dyke) Storm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. On June 14, 1965 Sandy married James Edward Marquart at the Beacon Heights Resort near Pequot Lakes, Minnesota. Together they raised three children. Sandy earned a Bachelor's degree and taught Home Economics. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, camping, and canoeing in her free time. Sandy leaves behind her husband, Jim Marquart of Glenrock, WY; son, Dan Marquart, of Wheatland, WY; and daughters, Mary Axthelm, of Riverton, WY and Laura McKee, of Casper, WY, as well as her sister, Sue Blumberg of Richfield, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Burton Storm, and brother, Jeff Storm, all of Minneapolis, MN. A memorial service celebrating Sandy's life will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Glenrock Baptist Church, with Pastor Rick Bishop officiating. Flowers are appreciated. Her family asks that in lieu of food, memorial contributions in Sandy's name be made to Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 S. Wilson St., Casper, WY, 82601.
