Samuel Rollin Dunnuck V

Samuel Rollin Dunnuck V (Sammy), 12 years old, passed away in the arms of his parents, on October 1st, 2024, in Casper, Wy; after a long battle with a devastating disease.

Sammy was born in Casper, WY to Samuel Rollin Dunnuck IV “Rollie” and Raechyl Dunnuck on May 15th, 2012. He was their first boy and a complete joy. Sammy was always busy and, on the go, so much so that he never really slept. Sammy loved school, the water, camping, ball toys, rides on the 4-wheeler, his animals, going outside with his push toys, but most of all being with family and friends. He had a smile that would light up the darkest room and a laugh and squeal that would bring instant joy. Sammy lost his ability to all of these and later his ability to walk, but it never stole that smile or light. He is a great example to us all of how to be the light in a world full of darkness. 

Sammy is survived by his parents Rollie and Raechyl Dunnuck, his little brother and best friend Odin Dunnuck. Grandparents, Great Grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. 

While his family may never understand why he had to endure all that he did, Sammy’s legacy will go on for generations. Jesus used Sammy’s story to reach people in all walks of life from battle hardened men to little old church ladies. A gaping hole is left in the hearts of any one who knew Sammy, but our boy is laughing, talking, praising, running and jumping in heaven. We will see you soon, our beloved boy!

 A viewing will be held at Bustard’s Funeral Home on Friday, October 4th from 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be held at City Park Church on Saturday, October 5th at 1pm.

 Sammy’s favorite color is blue if you want to honor him by wearing something blue on Saturday.
