Russell Stockman, 70, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 at his home in Casper. At his request, no services will be held at this time. He was born January 24, 1940 in Willows, California, the third child of Carl and Ellen (Blakely) Stockman. He worked for Casper Air Service as a diesel mechanic. He retired in 1998. Russell married his best friend, Wanda Day, on November 25, 1961 in Reno, Nevada. To this union, three children were born. Surviving are his wife, Wanda of the family home, daughters, Elizabeth (Libby) Pedersen (Bruce) of Salinas, CA, Dianne Sharp (Bob) and son, Trent Stockman (April) of Casper. Also surviving are sisters, Virginia Hughes, Carolyn Bassett, Colusa, CA, Juanita Nokes, Portland, OR, Grace Stephens, Yuba City, CA and brothers, George Beal III, Portland, OR and John Beal, Sacramento, CA; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Stockman, mother, Ellen Beal and stepfather, George Beal, Jr. Donations may be made to Casper Humane Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
