Russell Pitts

Russell A. Pitts came into this world on June 13, 1987 in Casper, WY and left to receive his wings on May 11, 2015 in Baton Rouge, LA. Russell was a 2005 graduate of Evanston High School, a 2007 graduate of Casper College with an AS in Computer Science and a 2011 graduate of Louisiana State University with a BS in Computer Science. Russell started working in the IT department of Parkview Baptist School in Baton Rouge, LA during his time at LSU. After graduating, he went to work for Immense Networks in Baton Rouge. During his time at Immense Networks, he became Cisco certified in servers and networking. In his 28 years here, Russell had the opportunity to live in 4 states and visit one other country. He has friends in places such as the United Kingdom, Malaysia and the Phillippines. Russell enjoyed time at the shooting range with his dad, game nights with his friends, the occasional road trip with his friends and family, programming and just relaxing with his cat, JoJo. Russell was preceded in death by his paternal Great Grandparents -- Kim and Mary Pitts, Joe and Edna Grove, his paternal grandparents-- Russell and Joan Pitts, his maternal great grandparents-Joe and Louise Cummings, Kenneth and Elva Skiles, his maternal grandparents-Mary Allison and James Cummings. Russell is survived by his maternal grandfather, John Behnke of Kearny, NE and his parents, Mark and Rhonda Pitts of Spring, TX, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Please join us in continuing a tradition from the UK, by planting a tree in memory of a lost loved one or friend. When the tree blossoms, it helps their memory live on. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity or cause of your choice. Bustard's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
