Russell Johnson

A Memorial Service will be held for Russell Dale Johnson, 58, at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at 11:00 A.M in Casper WY. Russ passed away peacefully in his home April 6th, 2018 in Casper WY. He was born in Portland Oregon December 1st, 1959 to Dale and Mary Johnson. Russ worked at a gold mine in Nome Alaska after graduating High School and moved to Casper in 1980 where he worked as a machinist for nearly 26 years at Greymak Pipe. Russ was the proud father of his only son, Zach, beloved Uncle, and friend of many. He loved the outdoors of Wyoming and enjoyed fishing, pheasant hunting, and biking. Above all, he valued the time with his family and was always there to support his friends. Russ will forever be remembered as a kind person and of course his natural sense of humor. He is survived by his son Zachary of Casper; sisters, Mary, Lori, and Robin all of Oregon; brother, Rick of Afton; nieces and nephews, Joel, Jennifer, Abbie, Chloe, Kelly, Dusty, Kristi, Jeremy, all of Oregon; Rebecca, Johnny, and Aayden of Casper; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert.
