Ruby Ellen Lantis

  Ruby Lantis 93, was born January 11,1929 & gently taken to Heaven by our Lord on November 25,2022.

  Her time here on this earth is over, but her time in heaven with Jesus & loved ones who have gone before her will be eternal!  One day it will be time for us to join her, but until then she will be dearly missed & fondly remembered.

  Ruby was the 4th. of Eleven children born to Craig & Elmira Bowdish. Growing up in such a large family provided plenty of wonderful, unique stories for Mom to share with us over the years.

  She married our father LeRoy, whom she had know since childhood & together they raised their 6 children.

  She was a sweet, beautiful, creative woman who also had a love of sports, especially football, her favorite team was the Denver Broncos & she watched every game she could.

  Mom & I, “Gaylen”, spent lots of time together doing crafts & playing games.  She taught her grandsons Aaron & John to do ceramics & plastic canvas.  She was there in a heartbeat to help me in difficult times. She also took care of me after I had surgery. I don’t know what I would have done without her love.

  When Mona-Loa & I were children,mom sewed the most beautiful Barbie doll clothes for our dolls.  She also made the best donuts ever!

  Ruby’s oldest child Jim, was born in Wyoming in February during the worst blizzard Wyoming has ever had.  He joined the navy in 1968 & married Martha in 1970. They have two sons, Tony & Craig.

  Ruby was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy, 2 sons, Morton & Delavan, parents, 5 brothers & 2 sisters.

  She is survived by her sons Jim & Howard, daughters Mona-Loa & Gaylen, brother Floyd, sisters Laura & Hazel, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren.

There will be a  visitation held at Bustard and Jacoby Funeral Home, 600 CY Ave, Casper, WY 82601 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Friday, December 2, 2022, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
