Ruby Louise Curtis died November 9, 2015 at the age of 57. She was born August 29, 1958 in Denver, Colorado, to William Whitehead and Alice June Hixon. Ruby was an independent and strong willed woman that could not be swayed by anyone and she maintained her fervent integrity to the very end. She had a long list of virtues that she lived by each and every day, these virtues characterized the person she was.... merciful, upright, caring, honorable, and loving. Although Ruby was an extreme introvert, her day to day dealings and conduct had a great impact on those that did get to know her. Those that witnessed her determination and zeal for her work were often baffled at first, but would later come to see how respectable she truly was because she would never start a job that she could not finish, and she readily took on any job that was asked of her. Ruby's days often revolved around her work. Throughout the duration of her life, she consistently maintained simultaneous jobs usually 2-3 full/part time jobs all at the same time. While many could easily assume that she was a "woman with very little", the truth is; she had everything she needed. She had the love of God to sustain her and carry her through any hardship she faced and she had the unconditional love and affection of her three adoring children (Samantha Shaw, Justin Curtis, and Krystal Garcia) in her eyes...this was happiness. She is survived by her son Justin, daughters Samantha and Krystal. Her brother Charles and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Alice, Brother William and Sister Reba.
