Ruby Ruth Boldorac (Ruby Ruth Bird) was born December 26, 1918 in Mesa, Arizona. She passed away October 21, 2012 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center in Casper. She was the daughter of Mary Catherine Evans Bird and Reaves Alexander Bird. Private graveside services, family only, at Highland Cemetery will be held. She married Robert Boldorac in 1953 and moved to Casper in 1954. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, three brothers, one son-in-law, one grandson and long time companion, Ernest Scholtz. She won many awards for her artistic talents. She supported her family for many years in the leather industry. Ruby worked 16 years at Casper Medical Center as a histotech. After retiring, she went to Casper College and obtained her associates degree. She is survived by son, Norman Hammond of Ocean, CA, daughter, Sandra Layton of Casper, daughter Jacqueline Johnson of Paulton, AZ, daughter, Beverly Juhl of Apache Junction, AZ, sister Virginia Shelton of Payette ID, 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
