Ruben Garcia

Our loving husband, father Ruben Garcia passed away on January 11, 2018. Ruben was born in Worland, WY on February 13, 1954, to Manuel Garcia and Rebecca Reyes. He was raised in Worland, WY. He fell in love with his wife of 44 years to Caroline Solis Garcia in Ontario, OR. They were married on Nov. 25, 1977. Ruben loved the lord Jesus Christ with all his heart and he loves his family very much. Ruben's wife and kids were the world to him. Ruben had a zest for life! He was optimistic, kind, loving and affectionate. Ruben could strike up a conversation with anyone and had the ability to make everyone feel special. He was an excellent landscaper and enjoyed building waterfalls. He loved bringing yards back to life. Ruben lived in Wyoming, Texas, Utah, Oregon, Colorado, Arizona and Idaho. He loved meeting new people and talking about life. Visiting family was an event he looked forward too. He loved telling stories and talking about Jesus. He loved making everyone laugh. He made everyone family. He called everyone mijo and mija. If you were called mijo or mija he loved you with all his heart. Ruben is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, and his 6 children, 18 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters. Sons, Angelo Garcia (Brandi), Priscilla Alonzo (Jose), Danny Garcia (Kimberly), Jenica Salazar (Cesar Jr), Kimberly Mangus (Shawn), Veronica Flores(Anthony). Grandchildren: Natesha, Ryde, Riley Garcia. Anzsalyke, Taezsa, Tavian Pacheco. Jaydn, Kyah Garcia, Lexoni Damino, Isaiah, Mya Salazar, Tayah Garcia, Tayler, Landon Mangus, Dmitri Lumbreras, Nevaeh, Chloe, Anthony Flores Serenity Guillen . Siblings Daniel (Priscilla) Garcia, Richard (Rita) GArcia, Cecielia (Hugo) Zavala, Jeannie (Thomas) Correa, Alex (Angela) Garcia, David (Janet) Garcia, Rachel (Hector) Flores, Sammy (Maria De La Luz) Garcia. Viewing for immediate family will be held on Saturday January 13, 2018 in Casper. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday January 16 at 5 pm at Victory Christian Center 967 N Highway 20 Worland, Wyoming.
