Roy Wolf

Roy E. Wolf May 19, 1929 - October 15, 2010 Our Father, Our Grandfather, Our Friend Roy Ellsworth Wolf was called home to meet our Savior on October 15, 2010. Roy was born on a small homestead in Lance Creek, Wyoming on May 19, 1929 to Margaret (Mills) and John (Curly) Wolf. He was the second child following closely the birth of his twin brother, Ray, who lost his fight for life at the tender age of 19 months. Roy was reared and educated in Lance Creek and Casper. Moving to Lander at the age of 9 to help care for his handicapped sister, Maxine. He moved back to Casper at age 12 to help his Mother support his brother and sister after his parent's separation. Roy met and married D. Lucille (Reynolds) in 1949. Together they had six children. He and Lucille were married for 35 years. She preceded him in death in 1984. Roy always called Lucille his wife he had for his work life. In 1990 he met Sherrie Schrader and they married in 1991. Roy helped Sherrie raise her two children who he considered his. Sherrie preceded him in death in 2007. He always called Sherrie his wife he had for his retirement life. Roy worked for the City of Casper from 1962 to his retirement in 1991. He was also preceded in death by his parents, sister, Maxine, two sons, Tom Wolf and Michael Wolf, one granddaughter, Ashley Wolf, two great-grandchildren, Bertin Tripp and Kaitlyn Janson, and the woman he always called ‘Mom', Cleo Reynolds. He is survived by his four daughter, Phyllis (Floyd) Rush, Peggy Hanson, Penny (Tom) Davenport, and Patty Edwards and her life companion, Tony. His two stepchildren, Corey and Crystal Fowler, his sister, Ora and brother, Ernest, his wonderful sister-in-law, Irene Phillips, longtime friend and caregiver, Victor Edwards; 25 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He is loved by many and will be missed by all. Services for Mr. Roy E. Wolf will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor David Taylor officiating. Viewing will be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery
