Ronald Lee "Ron" Kulm, of Casper, WY passed away Thursday, September 18th, 2014 at the WMC from a short and unexpected illness. A memorial service is planned for Monday, September 22nd, 2014. It is at Bustards Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will follow the memorial and will be at the VFW Post 9439 located at 1800 Bryan Stock Trail in Casper, WY Ron was born July 1oth, 1950 in Brighton,' CO. He spent his childhood and early adult life growing up in Dacona, CO with his parents, Mike and Helen Kuhn; brothers, Ed and Perk; and sisters, Carrol and Cathy. He attended High School in Erie, CO graduating in 1968. He soon after joined the U.S. Army in December of 1970. Ron "Claw" Kuhn served bravely in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in March of 1972. He met the love of his life Robbie Koskela in 1976 in Douglas, WY. They were married in 1977 and lived in Casper raising their two children Shawn Kuhn and Helen Kuhn Spaulding. He was a loving husband and father and friend to many. He really enjoyed hunting and fishing with his many friends and family. He thoroughly enjoyed collecting and even making his own, arrow heads. He enjoyed going to the "buddy club" with his grandson Lucas. Everyone who knew Ron, knew that they were welcome at the "picnic table" for conversation. Ron was the owner of Ron's Plumbing and Heating. He was extremely proud to have been in business for over 41 years. He took pride in doing quality work at a fair price. He was preceded in death by his dad, Mike Kuhn; brother, Bernard "Perk" Kuhn; and sister, Linda Kuhn. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Robbie Kuhn; son, Shawn Kuhn and his fiance, Alana Cannon; his daughter, Helen Kuhn Spaulding and her husband, Brian Spaulding and their son, Lucas Spaulding all of Casper. He was preceded in death by his dad, Mike Kuhn; brother, Bernard "Perk" Kuhn; and sister, Linda Kuhn.
