Ronald Hicks

Ronald D. Hicks age 72 of Casper, Wy, formerly of Midwest, Wy, passed away peacefully August,15, 2019, at Wyoming Medical Center. Ron was born on September 12, 1946 in Leesburg, Florida to Robert C. Hicks Sr. and Maude Helen Hart Hicks. Ron spent his childhood in Florida , Colorado and Wyoming. Ron and his first wife Linda were blessed with one son, Ronald Jr. who was Ron's pride and joy. He loved watching his son play a variety of sports. Ron moved to Seattle, Washington, where he met the love of his life Teresa Morgan, they wed August 14th, 1982. They eventually moved to Wyoming where they spent the rest of their lives. Ron had several jobs throughout his life but the one he enjoyed most was being on the open road, traveling the United States as a truck driver. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to camp and fish. He passed his knowledge of fishing on to his son and nephews. He enjoyed watching football, his favorite teams to watch were the Florida Gators and Seattle Seahawks. Ron is survived by his son Ron Jr, and two step daughters Tracy and Stephanie, former wife Linda Sumner, and two grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved siblings, sisters Beth, Barbara and Suzanne and brothers David and Daniel and several nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Teresa and sister Sandra, and brothers Robert and Frederick.
