Roger Dale Amundson, 62, passed away on September 12, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming. He was born on February 18, 1955 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Roger had an Associate degree in Civil Highway Technologies and Associate degree in Architectural Commercial Design. He worked as a Professional Senior Soils and Lab Manager at Strata. He married Dorothy Snook in Wheatland, Wyoming and together they had a son, Doug. Roger was a member of the Cowboy Joe Club for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, college football (University of Wyoming) and Packers football. He is survived by his son, Doug (Laura) Amundson; of Bar Nunn, Wyoming; grandson, Ethan Amundson; grand-daughter, Emilia Amundson, also Mother, Caroline Amundson; sisters, Cathy Severin and Jane Nelson of Cameron, Wisconsin and brother, Tim Amundson of Wisconsin. Roger is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Snook) Amundson of Casper, Wyoming; father, Robert Amundson of Cameron, Wisconsin and nephew, Matt Nelson of Cameron, Wisconsin. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Casper with Pastor Brian Oliver officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Roger's name to the Cowboy Joe Club, 1000 East University Avenue #3414, Laramie, Wyoming 82071.
