Rocky Kirk

May 3, 1978 — August 9, 2021

Rocky Namun Kirk passed away suddenly on August 9th, 2021. Rocky was a loving father, son, brother and uncle. He was born to Rocky and Shellie (Fairbanks) Kirk on May 3rd, 1978 in Lander, Wyoming. He was feisty and a fighter from the moment he was born. He was the youngest of three children, JC being his oldest brother and Kora (Huffman) being his older sister.

He attended school in Casper and graduated from Kelly Walsh High school in 1997. Throughout his childhood and young adult years, he was actively involved in athletics and excelled in Wrestling, Football and Baseball. He continued his love of sports into his adulthood. In September, 1999, he welcomed his daughter, Revea Jade into the world.

Rocky loved his bear cub Vea, his family and his friends. He loved Wyoming and The Wyoming Cowboys. He loved baseball, was an avid New York Yankees fan and Colorado Rockies were ok too. He loved wrestling and followed the Wyoming High School and NCAA Wrestling Championships. He loved Oakland Raiders and any team that beat the Denver Broncos. He loved rough housing, steam rolling and bucking broncs when playing with the littles. He loved Sunday naps, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Peanut Buster Parfaits. He loved chilling and watching movies. Some of the best were: The Goonies, Sandlot, Stand By Me and Big Daddy. He loved riding his bike, working out and rock climbing. He loved Green Mountain, Louis Lake, Alcova Cliffs, Pathfinder and Fremont Canyon. He loved swimming, floating and fishing our Wyoming Waters. He loved working hard and getting 'er done, taking pictures of the job and co-workers. He loved Bud Light Cheladas, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew and Milk. He loved bean burritos, tacos, and ribs from Texas Roadhouse where he would crush three baskets of rolls each visit. Most of all he loved to be a helpful hand and always loved to make a new friend.

Rocky is survived and loved by his Daughter: Revea Kirk & Drake Smith, Mother: Shellie Kirk, Brother: JC Kirk, Sister: Kora & Guy Huffman, Nieces; Willow Huffman and Timberlyn Huffman, Nephew: Colby & Hannah Kirk and family Brynlee, Brighton and Blakely, Nephew: Corbin Kirk & Saaj Hull and extended family and friends in Utah, Arizona and Nevada.
