Roberta Duesenberry

On June 15, 2019, Roberta "Sis" "Bert" Duesenberry passed away after a short battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends in the hours up to her passing peacefully at Wyoming Medical Center. Roberta was born February 8, 1953, in Pennsylvania. She moved to Casper in 1980 and had made it her home ever since. Sis lived her life caring for others. Even in her final hours she was concerned for those around her more than herself. She loved her family, John and Donna Vrabec and her brother Jonathan (to whom she was like a second mother). She loved animals (except chickens), reading, and pineapple upside-down cake! Bert worked at Wyoming Medical Center for over 30 years. She was a trusted, hard working member of the staff and a GREAT friend to many! She liked to laugh and always had kind words and encouragement for those around her. She believed in God and in the end trusted in Him. She was loved by many and will be missed! Loved ones will be hosting a celebration of life in the near future. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial gift/donation in her name to the Casper Humane Society.
