Robert "Bob" Claude Silva, age 93, of Evansville, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2018. He was born July 18, 1924 in North Kona, Honolulu, Hawaii to Ida (Pacheco) Alfred Golarte Silva. Bob served his country in the U.S. Army as a Corporal in the Pacific Theater from 1942 to 1945, earning a Purple Heart and 3 Bronze Service Stars. Bob married Gladys Caravalho on November 24, 1961. Bob enjoyed listening to music, reading, horseback riding, and fixing cars when he wasn't working as a bus driver. Bob is survived by his wife, Gladys Silva, of Evansville, WY; son, Robert Silva, Jr. and his family; daughter, Yvonne Silva, of Texas, and her family; daughter, Donna Silva, of Oregon, and her family; son, Larry Silva, of Georgetown, CA, and his family; daughter, Debbie Silva, of Kona, HI, and her family; daughter, Debbie Silva, of Kona, HI, and her family; daughter, Sheirell Medeiros, of Evansville, WY, and her family; son, Randy Silva, of Kaui, HI, and his family; daughter, Chamaine Gaspar, of Evansville, WY, and her family; son, Delwyen Silva, of Mountain View, Hilo, HI, and his family; daughter, Marlena Kumm, of Casper, WY, and her family; daughter, Wanda Pavao, of Maui, HI, and her family; and his youngest brother, Tommy Silva, of Hilo, HI, and his family. Bob also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1101 Wilkins Circle, Casper, WY 82601. A potluck will follow at the Casper Senior Center, 1831 East 4th Street, Casper, WY 82601 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
