Services for Robert William Sandison will be held on Saturday, October 13th at 10:00 am at Bustard's Funeral Home in Casper, Wyoming. Robert was one of the most selfless men known to many in Casper. He was born May 10, 1939 - past on October 3, 2018. He was raised in Casper. Son of Thomas L. and Jeanne M. Sandison, he graduated from Natrona County High School in 1957, attended Casper College 1959 - 1961. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1964 as a Mechanical Engineer and used those skills in almost everything he did. Most notable were working for U.S. Navy at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard in San Francisco from 1965 to 1969 as a Naval Architect on US ships and submarines, building and running the marina at Leeks Lodge, Jackson Lake Wyoming, maintaining the family business at Hilltop Shopping Center, & helping family. He liked to hunt & fish, especially In Grand Teton National Park. In his retirement he most enjoyed his time with his cousins Don & Cheryl Smith creating new stock trading strategies & visiting family. Robert is survived by Sister in law Janice Sandison and nephews David Ray (Laura) of Albuquerque, NM and Thomas M. of Loveland CO. He loved all three great nephews and his great nice, Tyler (Laura A.) Sandison of Marble Falls, TX, Thomas A. Sandison of Oviedo, FL, James Ray Sandison of Austin, TX, and Izabella A. Sandison of Oviedo FL., also, his many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas L. and Jeanne M., and his brothers James K. Sandison & Thomas R. Sandison.
