Robert Rathbun

Robert R. Rathbun, 83, passed away on January 6, 2013 at Wyoming Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Glenrock, WY. He was born on December 27, 1929 in Dalton, NE. Robert graduated high school in Torrington, WY in 1947. He was a Lt. Colonel in the Wyoming National Guard for over 30 years. Bob loved history and the West. He restored and erected 8 antique windmills in his backyard. He also has an extensive antique barbed wire collection. Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Bernice and son, Roy. He is survived by his daughter, Susan K. Preston of Ft. Collins, CO; son, Ray R. Rathbun, of Rock Springs; grandsons, Reid R. Rathbun of Green River, Forrest P. Floyd of Laramie, Nolan F. Rathbun, Rock Springs; granddaughter, Jayden M. Toman of Green River and great-grandson, Bayden Rathbun of Green River. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Fund.
