Robert Owen Brown

Robert Owen Brown "Rob" 

 Rob passed away at age 70, on June 2nd, 2024, in Riverton Wyoming.

He was born on May 14th, 1954, to Virgil L. & Lois L. Brown, formerly of Casper Wyoming. Rob was born in Scottsbluff Nebraska, and graduated High School in 1972, in Manila Utah. 

He served in the US Navy from 1972-1976 on the U.S.S. W.S. Sims 1059 during the Vietnam war. 

Rob spent many years at CES, Community Entry Services, in Riverton Wyoming, following a traumatic brain injury caused by an accident while riding his Harley Davidson. 

Robert is survived by

    His mother, Lois Brown (Quartzite, AZ) 

    His siblings, Lori Brown-Wirth (Arizona), Tom Brown (Alaska) & Donald Larsen (Wyoming). 

    Known lovingly as "Uncle Rob", he is survived by his many nieces and nephews.

- Seth Eslami & Sarah (1 child)

- Philip Canipe & Ashley (3 children) 

- Kyle Wirth & Bri (1 child) 

Rob is also survived by many aunts, cousins, and his wonderful family and friends from CES who loved him dearly. 

Following cremation, Rob will be interred at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery in Evansville Wyoming, near his father. 

A small memorial will be held at 12 noon on June 6th at CES, in Riverton Wyoming. 

A larger memorial of family and friends is being planned for a later date.
