Funeral Services for Mr. Robert "Bob" E. Manning, 85, of Powder River will be held at 1:00 PM on August 2, 2013 at Oregon Trail Veteran's Cemetery in Evansville, Wyoming. Military honors to be accorded by Natrona County United Veterans Council and Wyoming Army National Guard. Visitation will take place August 1, 2013 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Bustard's Funeral Home. Mr. Manning passed away July 17, 2013 in Riverton, WY. Bob was born in Worland to James Manning and Pearl Manning Shaw on January 16th 1928. He was a veteran of World War II and proudly served in the Army. He was a member of numerous country and polka bands including the Polka Kings and The Country Trio. He was involved in several clubs in Casper and would often play at club and charity events. Bob and his friends would often play at the Casper Senior Center. Bob was a very gifted man. His talents included painting and Indian crafting. Bob ran "Bad Bob's" Tipi and Trading Post in Powder River for decades. Bob is survived by his daughters Marlene Fleetham, Nancy Hanson, his brothers John Shaw, Leroy Shaw, Berdie Shaw and sisters Doris Roggow, Shirley Russell and Edna Summers. The family of Bob wishes to extend our sincere thanks to everyone that helped Bob in the past and after his stroke.
