What I would give to again feel the love and warmth that emanated from it, also holding hands seemed the nearest thing to heaven" Jean Kron Services for Robert Kron, 86, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery with Pastor John Spear, Highland Park Community Church officiating. Viewing will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Military honors will be accorded by the Natrona County United Veterans Council and the Wyoming Army National Guard. Interment will be at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. Robert G. Kron passed away September 10, 2010 at the Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana. He was born June 5, 1924 in Thermopolis, Wyoming the son of Carl and Eva (White) Kron. The family moved to Glenrock when he was young. He was educated in Glenrock, graduating from Glenrock High School in 1943. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1944 during WWII and was discharged at Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. He married Lois Jean Grissom October 12, 1958 in Ethete, Wyoming. He retired from Pacific Power Plant in 1985 after 23 years of service. He and his wife enjoyed traveling, dancing and socializing with their many friends. He is survived by his wife of Billings and Casper, nieces and nephews, Gary McLain, Jolene Williams of Newcastle, Chuck Kron of Bakersfield, California, Bob Kron of Glenrock and Lari Lowndes of Casper.
