Robert Kieffer

Robert M. Kieffer, 88, passed away on October 4, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming. Robert was born on December 28, 1928 to Lawrence Kieffer and Anna Belle Davis in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. He married Dona Jean Humphrey on November 24, 1972 in Sinclair, Wyoming. He worked as a truck driver in the oil field as well as a fireman for the railroad in the mid 1950's. Bob served in the United States Army as a Corporal for two years, military honors will be accorded by the Wyoming Army National Guard and the Natrona County United Veterans Council. He enjoyed camping, fishing and had a green thumb. He is preceded in death by his wife and survived by his daughter, Lisa and his step-daughter, Cheryl Gale. Services will be held at the Oregon Trail State Veteran's Cemetery Chapel in Evansville, Wyoming on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 1:00pm. Memorial donations may be made in Bob's name to the St. Joseph's Children Home in Torrington, Wyoming.
