Robert T. Harris, Sr.

Robert (Bob) T. Harris Sr. 84, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at his family home in Casper , Wyoming.

He was born on February 25, 1940 in Ontonagon Michigan to Tom and Helen Harris. He spent his childhood and school years there, graduating from high school. He married Dorothy (Frisk) on March 7, 1959 and they would have four children together.

His work career began at the White Pine Copper Mine, then moved to Casper Wyoming with his family to work at Wyoming Machinery Company. He would then own and operate Sunrise Conoco until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Helen Harris, his sister Bernice (Harris) Penegor, nephew Gerald Pender and niece Lynn Pender. He is survived by his wife Dorothy and their four children Robert (Charlene) Harris Jr., Greg (Tiana) Harris, Chris (Teha) Harris, and Pam (Scott) Honken, twelve grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren, sisters-Margaret Pender, Joy Berg and Linda (Bill) Uhlig, brother-Gary (Helga) Harris and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will take place a Mount Hope Lutheran Church, 2300 Hickory St. in Casper Wyoming on Wednesday August 14, 2024 at 10:00 am with Pastor John Hill officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Hope Lutheran School or Luther Classical College fund at 2300 Hickory St, Casper Wyoming.
