Casper resident, Robert "Bob" D. Green, 70, died November 17, 2012 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper Wyoming, after a short illness. A service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 3:30 PM at Bustard's Funeral Home. Jim Gunderson will be officiating. A reception to celebrate his life will be held immediately following the services. Robert was born on April 26, 1942 in Judsonia, Arkansas to Daniel and Marguerite Green and spent his childhood in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1965 with a degree in Accounting, which would be his lifelong profession. On June 26, 1965, Robert married Patricia Shoemaker at St John's Lutheran Church in Darien, Illinois. Robert and his family lived in Fremont, Michigan after his graduation, until 1980, when they moved to Casper, Wyoming. Robert was an avid golfer and softball player, and a great fan of all sports, professional and collegiate. He was also a lifelong outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing and camping trips with family and friends. Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia, two sons and their spouses, James and Michelle Green, Michael and Celia Green, and by his three grandchildren, Alex, Brian and Tegan and by his mother, Marguerite Green.
