Robert "Bob" Richardson, Sr. passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on November 14, 2015, at his home in Casper, WY. Robert was one of seven children born to Louis Wempen and Howard Richardson on June 6,1937 in Pavillion, WY, where he graduated from high school. After high school Bob began his career inUranium mining. Bob retired after 15 years with Pathfinder Mining. Bob married his first wife Jo Hayner and together they had one son; Robert Richardson, Jr. He later married the love of his life, Nina Abston in 1975. In 2007, Bob and Nina Moved to Casper from Pavillion. This move though be it for health reasons, put the couple much closer to his son Bob and his Grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all Bob loved to spend time with his family and the family dog Miss Blue. In February of this year Bob had to say goodbye to his wife when she passed. This devastating loss was followed closely by his son's passing in May. These two losses contributed a great deal to the decline of his health. Just as with Nina his granddaughter Sara, was right there by his side for anything he could need. His other two grandchildren, Bobby and Samantha spent a great deal of time with him as well, which provided much joy to his final days. Bob is survived by his three grandchildren, Sara (Rex) Thronburg, Bobby Richardson, and Samantha Richardson; four great-grandchildren, Alexandra Hart, Sloan Hart, Rylan Thronburg and Chloee Thronburg; stepson, Forest Foote; his siblings, Cecil Richardson, Allen Richardson, Jane Laughery and Lavaughn Richardson; as well as his constant companion, his dog Miss Blue. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Robert Richardson, Jr., and his wife, Nina. A celebration of life and time for sharing will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Bustard's Funeral Home, with Cherie Nelson officiating.
