Robert Carter

Robert B. Carter (Bob) passed away on July 11th, 2018 in Casper, Wyoming due to complications from Multiple Myeloma. He was born August 24th, 1953 in Casper Wyoming to Morris Carter Sr. and Edna Robinett Carter. He was very active in 4H and FFA showing Cattle, Sheep and Horses. During his teen years he bred and showed his own flock of award winning Southdown sheep as well as the families award winning Suffolk herd. He graduated Natrona County High School in 1972 and began working in various mines and oil field companies. For 27 years he worked at Glenrock Coal Company, and when the mine closed he had ran every piece of equipment there including the locomotive, hydraulic shovel and the dragline. He also worked for 3 years for the Natrona County Road and Bridge department. Besides running Heavy Equipment Bob's love was working on the ranches of his cousins especially cousin and best friend Guy Mark Robinett. His family was the most important thing in his life and he always was taking his nieces and later children wherever he went. He only missed a livestock show, 4H event or FFA program when he had to work. County Fair was his week of vacation, and he never missed a market or breeding sheep show. Once he retired he spent his winters in Tucson Arizona with his sister Donna riding atv's and enjoying the warm weather. The agriculture values and way of life was how he chose to live his life, and what he passed down to those around him. He is survived by: Daughter Kimberly; Son Bryce; Daughter in law Melissa; Sisters Donna Obert and DeeDee Loomer; Brother Morris Carter JR; Brother in law Lester Obert; Niece's Jody(Shane) Mooney, Oneta (Mark Pike) Carter, Bobbie(George) Mills, Ivy(Colin) Morrison, Jamie(Chas) Forbes, Airian (Sean) Copus and Katrena (Justin) Crimm Great Niece's; Nadia(Zach) Wells, Torena Houston, Maggie Forbes, Abbie Forbes, Grayson Pike, Brea Mills, Zoe Copus Great Nephews; Caimen (Madison) Houston, Aiden Morrison, Macgregor Morrison, Ryker Crimm, Alexander Copus, Brogan Crimm. Great Great Nephews; Trenton Houston and Warren Wells Aunts; Ruby Robinett and Lois Artiz. Friends; Paul Johnson and Richard and Lori Minchow. He also leaves behind many of his children and nieces friends, a great many cousins and friends too numerous to name. He was proceeded in death by Father; Morris Sr mother Edna Uncles; Lawrence Robinett, Clayton Robinett, Vern Robinett, Robert Robinett, William Robinett, Brothers in Law; David Cashel and James Loomer and cousin and best friend Guy Mark Robinett. A celebration of his life will be held August 25th an event will be created on facebook and the family asks that you remember him and all that he stood for in everyday life.
