Memorial services for Robert R. Burkhart will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery Chapel, with Pastor Cynthia McBride of the First Christian Church officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the Natrona County United Veterans Council and the Wyoming Army National Guard. Inurnment will be at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Burkhart, 88, passed away November 25, 2011 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper, Wyoming. Mr. Burkhart served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945. Cremation has been held.
