Richard Hamilton Yount, Jr., age 63, passed away at Wyoming Medical Center on July 7, 2017 after a stay at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center. He was born on the Army base in Heidelberg, Germany on March 20, 1954 to Mary (Saavedra) and Richard Yount. On November 5, 1994 in Reno, Nevada Richard married Debra (Weber) Hine, a single mother with a six pack of children. Richard attended college at North West College in Powell, Wyoming. He worked as a lineman at SDG&E in California, as an aeronautical refueler at Hawkins & Powers, and at the Greybull and Powell airports. Richard also worked at Airgas in Casper. Richard was a member of the IBEW in San Diego for 17 years. He was active with Celebrate Recovery at Highland Park Community Church in Casper. He was an avid reader and enjoyed surfing, sailing, and air shows. He loved camping and fishing with his daughter and stepchildren. What he loved most about woodworking was making special gifts for his family and friends. Richard is survived by his mother, Mary Yount, of Casper, Wyoming; his father, Richard (Patricia) Yount, Sr., of Bradford, Ohio; daughter, Rebekah Yount, of Casper, Wyoming; ex-wife, Debra Hine Yount, of Casper, Wyoming; stepdaughters, Elizabeth Hine, and her children, of Bonsall, California, and Bridgette B. Hine, of Powell, Wyoming; stepsons, Benjamin Hine, of Casper, Wyoming, Abraham Hine, of Powell, Wyoming, George Bob Hine, of Mills, Wyoming, and John "Bradley" Hine, of Laramie, Wyoming. Richard was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Martinez Saavedra, of Los Angeles, California, and two stepsons, Samuel and BJ. Services are pending.
