Richard Dale Silsby

Richard Dale Silsby (Dick, Moby), 79, of Bar Nunn, WY passed away on August 3, 2024, in Bar Nunn, WY.

Dick was born in Wheatland, WY to Robert and Geraldine Silsby on November 15, 1944. He attended Converse County High School and graduated in 1964. He then enlisted in the US Navy where he served as a Boilerman for 4 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Dick worked at the Dave Johnston Power Plant in Glenrock, WY for 30 years and retired in 2002. He enjoyed many activities including hunting, fishing, woodworking, scuba diving, and spending time with his grandkids, dogs, and family.

Dick is survived by his brother Robert (Bob) Silsby of Glendo, WY, daughters Stephanie Hopper of Denver, CO and KeeLee McLeland of Big Cabin, OK, granddaughter Kaitlyn Knight of Los Angeles, CA, and great grandchildren Amelia Knight and Vincent Knight of Casper, WY. He was preceded in death by his grandson Zane Knight.

As per his final wishes, no memorial service will be held.
