"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." -2 Timothy 4:7 Richard Gary O'Hearn, ‘father to seven and husband to one', passed suddenly Monday, April 16th from a massive heart attack at the age of 57. He leaves behind his wife, 9 children, and an immense legacy of love, humility, and self-sacrifice. His passing is a great loss to the many who experienced his easy smile, fatherly warmth, and child-like joy. Richard could be found frequenting Mass, carting around his children and grandkids, enjoying a cookie, or riding his bike. His last ride preceded his heart attack. He was recently laid off before his passing and as such the family is requesting financial and spiritual support regarding funeral arrangements and support for his stay at home wife Terry, Maggie (11), and disabled son, Sam. https://www.gofundme.com/terry-o039hearns-go-fund-me A visitation will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Casper on Thursday, April 18, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a Parish Vigil starting at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 19, 2018 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin Barrett officiating. Interment will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. He'd implore you to draw near to God and live simply. To die to self is to fully live, and he lived fully. "That's it Dick, go to bed."
