Richard Hufsmith

Services for Mr. Richard "Dick" A. Hufsmith will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery Chapel. Military honors will be accorded by the Natrona County United Veterans Council and the Wyoming Army National Guard. Inurnment will be at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. Richard "Dick" A. Hufsmith, 62, of Casper passed away Friday, November 25, 2011. Dick was born August 2, 1949 in Casper and lived there most of his life. He graduated from NCHS in 1967 and joined the Navy. Upon his discharge, he received a diploma from DeVry Institute in basic electronics. Again in 1984, Richard attended Casper College and received a degree in Petroleum Technology. Dick worked oil fields across Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his parents and both sets of grandparents. Dick is survived by his brother, John Hufsmith and his two sisters, Marian P. Atkins and Karen Joslin. Memorials may be made to the family in Dick's memory.
