Richard Day

Richard Lee Day (Dicky Day), 84 of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on July 26, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born in Compton, California on October 12, 1934. Richard was briefly married to Jean Hoffman, from this union came two children Ricky and Lora. They later divorced. Richard then married Ruth Elizabeth Wood on July 11, 1959; they were married for 60 years. They had one child Randy. Richard worked as a sanitation worker for the City of as Casper, retiring from that job in 1999. He enjoyed working in the yard and took great joy in his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Richard is survived by the love of his life, Ruth Day, son, Ricky Day (Sarah), daughter Lora Sucher (Lee) and son Randy Day (Christina), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard is preceded in death by his father William Lewis Day, mother Ida Marie Day, brother Lewis William Day and sister, Loydaine B Day. The funeral service will be held at August 10th, 2019 at 10 am at Memorial Gardens with Robin Galitz officiating.
