Reva Baskett

Reva Kathryn Baskett 76 passed away May 19, 2013 in Casper at Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions, after a lengthy battle with Chronic Heart Failure. Services will be held May 25th, 2013 at the Midwest Community Church in Midwest Wyoming, with Pastor Tracy Sutherland presiding. Reva was born to Daniel and Elsie (Curlis) Pierson on March 27, 1937 in Fairfield Township, Michigan. She lived in the area of Michigan most of her life. She worked as a CNA for the Sherwood Hall Nursing home, and taking caring care of both her ailing parents until their passing. Later she worked as a chiropractor's assistant for Diesler Chiropractic. Later in life Reva moved to Washington to be closer to her family, where she met and fell in love with Kennard Baskett. Who she married on October 18, 1980 in the town of Port Hadlock Washington where she remained until 2012, when she moved to Wyoming to be close to her nieces until the time of her passing. Reva was a kind and very spirited woman, always helping out others. She enjoyed activities such as reading, crocheting, knitting, and most famously making raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. She also enjoyed playing bingo and watching mysteries on TV. Most of all she enjoyed time with family and friends. Reva is survived by her husband Kennard Baskett of Midwest. Niece Alma (Tony) Jerome of Midwest, Great Nieces Michayla (Eolus) Linville of Midwest, Sara (Jason) Carter of Gillette, Great-Great Nieces Britnee and Anakka. Sisters Rose (Sunny) Coulter of Irondale, Washington, Sophia (Ruben) Miller of Three Rivers, Michigan, and Verna (Floyd) Philips of Sturgis, Michigan. Brother Bart (Pearl) Pierson of Marion, Illinois. And countless other nieces nephews and extended family in both Washington and Michigan. Reva was preceded in death by her beloved parents, brothers Gerald, L.D., Pete, and Joe. Sisters Nancy, Zola, and infant sister Charlotte. Nephew Daniel and Niece Kathryn.
