Reuben Salazar October 13th, 1941 - November 1st 2019 Reuben Salazar, 78, of Casper, passed away on November 1st 2019, in Casper, WY. Reuben was born, October 13th, 1941 in Wheatland, WY to Jesus and Juanita Salazar. He was educated in Wheatland. In 1986, he met Debbie LaCroix-Neiger in Casper, WY, and they married July 9th 1992 in Casper, WY. He was employed in the sanitation department for the City of Casper for 31 years before retirement in 2001. He was recognized with an award for 31 years of service to the City of Casper. For numerous years, Reuben was involved in daily activities with countless friends and acquaintances at The Casper Senior Center. Reuben is preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Juanita Salazar, and one sister Connie, Julia at birth. Reuben is survived by his wife of 27 years, Debbie Salazar of Casper, WY, six children, Ruben "Yogi" Salazar of Casper, WY, Jennifer Walters of Parachute, CO, Nicki Jimenez of Casper, WY, Placo Salazar of Cheyenne, WY, Leo Neiger of Casper, WY, and Leslie Kinneberg of Gillette, WY. Reuben has 9 brothers and sisters, Bertha, Marge, Joe, Mary, Larry, William, Rose, Theresa, and Elisa. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 3 to 6 PM at Bustard's Reception Center, 632 CY Avenue in Casper.
