Rebecca Lynn Cudmore

March 5, 1957 — February 13, 2025

Rebecca Lynn Cudmore, lovingly known as Becky, passed away on February 13, 2025, in Casper, Wyoming, at the age of 67. She was born on March 5, 1957, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, to Larry Washek and Audrey (Washek) Hanson.

Becky spent her formative years in the Battle Lake area and graduated from Battle Lake High School in 1975. After graduating, she moved to Gillette, Wyoming, and welcomed her beloved daughter, Heidi, in 1977.

Becky began her career at Pamida department store, then moved on to Albertsons where she worked as a cashier and scan coordinator for over 25 years. She moved to Evergreen Colorado in 1996 to continue her career and enjoy the calming sights and sounds of nature. Becky particularly loved watching the sky for bald eagles and scanning the trees to see Elk grazing. She spent 12 years in the beautiful foothills of the mountains in Colorado, however, when the Albertsons in Evergreen closed, Becky relocated to Casper Wyoming where she could be closer to her daughter and grandchildren, and began working at Walmart. She enjoyed watching football in her free time, especially the Vikings and the Broncos.

A devoted Catholic, Becky found comfort and strength in her faith throughout her life. She had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and cherished spending time with her family. Becky was known for her quick wit, feisty sense of humor, and the love she had for those around her.

Becky will be remembered for her undying love and generosity to those she loved. Family was the light and true joy of her life Becky was a genuine person who loved deeply and was always willing to be brutally honest. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh and the amazing strength she exhibited as a woman. She was a woman of strength, resilience, and generosity.

The loss of Becky was a devastating surprise to all as she was taken much too early. Becky was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, Larry and Audrey, as well as her brothers, Steve and Ricky, along with several aunts and uncles. Becky is survived by her daughter, Heidi (Craig) Campbell; grandchildren Tyler (Johanna) Hasbrouck, Haylie Hasbrouck, Jacob (Cassy) Campbell, and Trent Campbell; her great-grandchildren, Neil, Jay, Jaycee, and Colson; sisters Brenda Stewart and Beth Lee; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her special neighbor Karla Arner, and many other loved ones who will miss her dearly.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life and burial will be held at Our Lady of The Lakes Catholic Church on a date to be determined later this year.
