Raymond Shady, 70, of Casper, died in his home on Thursday, November 28th.
Ray loved his family. He leaves his wife, Gail; son, Russell Shady and wife, Disa; his daughter, Lea Usrey and husband, Clint; and his grandson, Ethan.
Ray was born in New York, but spent most of his life in California before moving to Casper 7 years ago.
Ray enjoyed so many things, his favorite was being a hot air balloon pilot for over half his life. He loved taking people up in the balloon for their adventure of a lifetime and teaching new pilots how to fly. He was so enthusiastic.
He always had a smile and was willing to help wherever needed. He will be sorely missed.
There will be no service at this time but a celebration of his life will be held this summer.
