Raymond G. Opitz

Raymond G. Opitz     3/17/1938  -  7/20/2022

Raymond was born in Lewistown, MT and graduated from Fergus County High School in the class of 1956. He served in the National Guard for 8 years and was Honorably Discharged as Sargent and Master Marksman. Ray moved to Casper in 1956 where he met his wife Patricia of 64 years, and they made Wyoming their home. They had 5 children, Raymond, Jr. who passed away in 1958. Shortly after birth. Terry, Christine, Alan and Gary. Raymond’s hobbies included model airplanes, scale model railroad set, hunting, fishing, and finally beekeeping. Which led to their popular and successful business. The Wyoming Honey Co. from 1978 until they retired in 2010.
