Ray Rosenthal, 83, of Cheyenne passed December 26th, 2017. Longtime Casper resident. Born April 23, 1934, in Williston, North Dakota, the son of Alfred and Louise Rosenthal. He married ZeldaMae Coward February 14, 1960 in Casper. Ray lived in North Dakota working in his folk's café and the farm. Ray moved to Casper, driving truck, True Drilling, Christensen Diamond Bits, retired from Marathon Oil and owned Rosenthal Consulting. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and family. Survivors include his sister Charlotte Bohnet, daughter Katherine (Robert) Smith, Casper; daughter Raylene Geerdes (Ron Hansen), Cheyenne; grandchildren Makayla and Desirae Smith, Casper, Eddie(Danielle) Geerdes, Colorado , Misty(Cody) Zumwalt, Cheyenne; great grandchildren Katelynn and Kadyn Zumwalt, Davin and Ava Geerdes, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, wife, a sister, brother, nephew. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Bustard's Funeral Home in Casper with Pastor Stephanie Kopsch officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Bustard's.
