May 10, 1955 — January 9, 2012

Memorial services and celebration of life for Randall Thomas "Zate" Phillips, 56, will be held Friday, January 13, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at 2625 Casper Mountain Rd. He passed away suddenly on Monday, January 9, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. Zate was born in Casper on May 10, 1955 to Tom and Gloria (Barella) Phillips. He attended Casper area schools and, after graduating from NCHS in 1973, he pursued the working world. He married Koleen Morrison and was blessed with two beautiful children. He enjoyed a great life with his children and friends and loved fishing, hunting, music and Whitehorse softball. He especially enjoyed umpiring Little League Baseball. He met the love of his life, Tami (Cornett) Fricke, and they shared many years of love and happiness. They were always seen together laughing and enjoying life. Zate loved the great and happy times of life and his wish is for others to share special times with the ones they love. Zate's quick wit and sense of humor will be missed and remembered by those who knew him. Survivors include his true love, Tami Fricke, of Casper and her children Tsianina and Chris Fricke of California; daughter, Destiny (Vincent) Milo of Casper; mother, Gloria Phillips and sister, Gloria "Lynnie" Roberts of Denver; brother, Mark "Bunce" (Barb) Phillips and their children, Evan and Acacie of Casper; his stepmother, Shirley Phillips of Casper; step-brothers Danny (Alice) Robinson of Riverton and Marvin (Ann) Robinson of Casper; step-sisters, Reita Gorseth of Nevada and Jeanie (Mike) Fitzpatrick of Mills; grandchildren, Zylus and Karma of Casper; and his good friend, Jim Kirkwood.
