Ramon Hershey

Ramon (Ray) Hershey, 81, passed away on October 4, 2014 in Casper. Graveside services will be held, 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Glenrock Cemetery. The Rev. Leigh Earle will be officiating. Ray was born on January 22, 1933 in Glenrock, WY to Clarence Hershey and Edna Bishop. He graduated from high school and attended two years of college. He married Dona Lou Morgan in Glenrock. Ray worked as a dispatcher for Pacific Power until he retired. Ray was a member of the Glenrock Episcopal Church, Glenrock Masons Lodge #22, and past Master, Lions Club, City Council, School Board and the Shriners. Ray is survived by his son, Blair (Denett) Hershey of Provo, UT and daughter Marla (Rick) Barnard of Houston, TX and grandchildren, Lance (Amber) Hershey of Salt Lake City, Kyle Baynard of Houston, TX, Alycia and Crystal Hershey both of Provo, UT, great granddaughter, Kate Hershey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dona Lou, his parents and sister, Laverna Rookstool. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any memorials be sent to Christ Episcopal Church, 415 West Cedar, Glenrock, WY 82637.
