Phyllis Jean McCann passed away on June 15, 2017 at Shepherd of the Valley Healthcare in Casper, Wyoming after a tenacious fight with cancer. She was born on August 7, 1930 to Fred and Francis Grimm in Decatur, Illinois. She married Richard "Dick" McCann on August 8, 1947, in Decatur, Illinois. The couple moved to Casper in 1954, along with daughters Constance (Nelson) and Cathleen McCann. Later, daughters Christina McCann, Clarissa (Krueger), and Teresa (Brown) were born in Casper. She was a devoted wife and mother, who loved her family, animals, gardening, and angels. She was a talented artist, a past member of Our Lady of Fatima's Altar Society, and a Realtor. She is survived by her sister, Judith Osborne, her daughters, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. No memorial is planned, and cremation has taken place at her request. She will not only rest beside her husband at the family plot, but will also accompany her daughters in their travels throughout the world.
