Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend; Phyllis Gurtsak Carlson went home to be with the LORD with a big smile on her face on August 21, 2016 at Central Wyoming Hospice. Born August 3, 1932 to Henrietta and Art Knoucke in Fairbury, NE. She married Stephen Gurtsak, and had 6 children and 6 grand-children and 9 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by both parents, husband Stephen, son Jody, and daughter Susan. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 2:30pm at Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice 319 South Wilson, Casper, WY 82601. Bustard's Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
