Peggy Walker

December 10, 1936 — June 13, 2015

Peggy went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2015. She was born December 10, 1936 in Lamesa, Texas to Alene Creel. On June 7th, 1953, Peggy married her life long love, John Walker. The couple had four children together. In 1968 they made their home in Casper, Wyoming. Peggy was an avid fisherman and she spent most of her weekends out at Pathfinder lake camping with her family. Peggy was also an excellent seamstress. She was always making cross stitch pictures or sewing and making quilts. She also enjoyed bowling and was in many bowling leagues. On the days she was not out fishing, Peggy was in her garden with all of her beautiful flowers. Words cannot describe the impact she made on so many lives, all of her friends and family loved her dearly. Peggy was preceded in death by her son; John Allen Walker, her daughter; Cindy Rowland, her mother; Alene Creel, Her brother; Robert Creel; her sister; Charlene Carr; and a great-grandson; Ian Corrigan. Peggy is also survived by her husband; John Walker, her daughters; Cathy (Dave) Phillips and Terri Walker. Seven grandchildren: Jason Moyer, Justin Moyer, James Moyer, Michael Moyer, Katie (Daniel) Pieri, Melissa (Hooter) DeHoney, Larry (Sarah) Rowland Jr,and nineteen great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and so much more. She will be dearly missed, though happily remembered. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Bustard's Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Lewis officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM also at Bustard's Funeral Home.
