Peggy I. Hawley

  Peggy Irene Hawley, 76, of Casper, WY went home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2023, surrounded by her family.

  Peggy was born to Loren and Verna Smith in Fredonia, KS on April 3, 1947. A homemaker, she also held management positions in collections, assisted living, and customer service during her career.

  Peggy dedicated herself to joyfully serving God and loving and nurturing her family. These were always her priorities, and her life was marked by compassion, generosity, humility, and strong faith. Incredibly gifted and creative, Peggy could also bring life to any idea or project she desired whether it be arts, crafts, building, designing, sewing, cooking, or music.

  Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and by 3 siblings. She is survived by her husband Glenn of 59 years, as well as seven children, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 4 siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
