Pearl "Ida" McGillivray passed away on Sept. 28, 2016 in Douglas, Wyoming. She was born on Sept 14, 1913 to Duncan McGillivray and Pearl Isabelle Hemenway in Albuquerque, NM. They had 3 daughters, Marjorie, Doris, and Ida. Her father died when she was two. Her mother then married Jerry Bradford Farris and they had 2 sons, Jerry Finley (Sonny) and Quimby Robert (Tink). She married William "Bill" Smith Barlow in Aztec, NM May 21, 1934. They had three children, Jerry (Carol) Barlow, Wilma (Leamon) May, and Elaine (Tim) Francis. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, 10 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 28 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, two sisters, two brothers, her husband and a grandson. At the time of her death she was living with her daughter, Wilma, and her husband, Leamon, in Douglas, WY. Wilma and Leamon and their family had lovingly cared for her for the last three years. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Grants Memorial Park in Grants, NM with Rev. Bob Britton officiating.
