Paula J. Street

Paula Jane Street, 68, of Casper, WY, passed away on October 6, 2023 at Life Care Center of Casper. 

Paula was born in Washington County, PA, to Paul Frank Gaydos and Dolores Jane Blair on January 27, 1955.  She attended high school at Ringgold Senior High School and graduated in 1973.  She was employed as a store manager at Mini Mart for 12 years, owned Merlin’s Mystics in the Eastridge Mall for 16 years, was an assistant manager at Wendy’s Restaurant, and was a Residential Specialist at Central Wyoming Counseling Center, all in Casper.

Paula loved watching Police, Court, and Medical TV dramas and was an avid game show fan, especially Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.  She read every book written by Mary Higgins Clark, Stephen King, and James Patterson.  Her favorite restaurant was Red Lobster.  Her favorite team, the Pittsburg Steelers.

Paula is survived by her husband, Bill, of Casper, her daughter Heather (husband Dustin) Moore, Granddaughters Ayla (husband Jordan) Kottwitz, and Taylor Moore, and Great Grandchildren Leo and Ellowyn Kottwitz.  She was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, and Brother, John Gaydos.

Funeral Service will be held at Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home on Oct. 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Philip Vaske of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church officiating.  Cremation has taken place.  Burial will take place at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

Paula’s family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Life Care Center of Casper for their high level of professional care and the kindness and compassion shown to Paula during her eight month stay at the center.
