Paul Coryell

In loving memory of Paul E. Coryell, 86, departed this world on Monday, August 4, 2014, at Shepherd of the Valley Healthcare Center. He will be greatly missed. Paul was born in Gordon, Nebraska on February 26, 1928. Paul served in the U.S. Navy from 1946-1947. Following his service, Paul devoted 40 years working for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. Paul suffered from a severe curvature of the spine which caused severe back pain for most of his life. Even with this physical hindrance he figured out a way to enjoy the game of golf. He was a very enthusiastic golfer and also enjoyed ice cream sundaes with his grand-daughters. Paul is survived by his three sons, Michael Paul (Teresa) Coryell of Casper, WY, Russell Earl (Kathy) Coryell of Reading, PA and Jeffrey (Susan) Slattery of Tulsa, OK and by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima with burial services following at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery.
